GARY EYSTER Gary Eyster passed away July 16, 2013 following a long illness. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law and remembered as a loving father, son, brother, and friend. Pursuing his creative passion, Gary earned a master in fine arts. He was Director at Cape Fear Museum and later taught portrait painting at CFCC. He encouraged friends and students in their art, generously sharing his knowledge. Above all, Gary was an artist. He loved painting big abstracts, but worked with all mediums; always experimenting and innovating. He was a kind, inquisitive man with a funny dry wit and is missed by family and friends. In his memory, please donate to a cancer .
