We will always remember Al as a supportive father, great football coach and a friend always willing to help when ever he could. The "Raiders" your knowledge or the game and LOVE for the boys was something they will ALL never forget...you made a positive impression on their lives.
We will miss you Al,

Al..you will be missed in the physical presence here on earth by myself my son and soooo many others. But I know your in heaven being a wonderful angel and probably still extinguishing fires and teaching life lessons and coaching. Getting from place to place on a bike. You may have never been perfect in life but darn near close when I came to know you. Though your sons were out of school and moving on with life you found time to come watch and support my nephew giving advise while sitting silent and just listening. You are awesome. The only thing I regret is I hear you can cook and I really didn't get a chance to experience that. But you are amazing then now and forever. May you stay blessed and may the friends and family have many blessings bestowed on them. You have wonderful boys and grandchild to be. Thanks to you I gained an amazing friend in brenda and my son n nephew in your boys. Something that will last forever just like my memory of you. God bless

My brother was a kind and loving brother. Always willing to help, a devoted and proud father and one HELLUVA COOK!
With fond memories will I remember my brother as he has changed his address.
The last thing we did together was to plant some plants in my yard. A demonstration of hope.

We usually dont get to meet the firefighters, but we are aware of the job they do, responding in the middle of the night to someone's call , the challenges and dangers they face each shift they work.
I hope he was able to enjoy some retirement time, the job can take such a toll on a body.
From his photo he has a wonderful smile, please remember that, I am sure he was proud of his work, everyone @ Minneapolis 911 is aware and proud of our responders every day!
We are thinking of you and your loss,
