Arnold, LeRoy P. "Jingles" age 82, of Mpls., went to be with the Lord on 3/28/11. Preceded in death by parents, Raphael and Hattie; sister, Bonita F. Peterson; and brothers, Mark R. and Joseph F. Arnold. Survived by brother, William J.; sisters, Edna M. Shoberg, Elizabeth "Betty" Nelson and Martha M. Lengle; special friends, Jackie, David, Jo Henri, Commander Dan, Kristie and Mike; along with other family and good friends. Arnold faithfully served the Lord Jesus Christ and was unashamed of the Gospel. To God be the Glory. Memorials preferred to Loaves & Fishes. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Service Saturday 3:00 PM, with visitation one hour prior at River of Life Lutheran Church, 2200 Fremont Ave N., Mpls. Washburn-McReavy Swanson Chapel 612-529-9691

I MET ROY AT CAMDEN CARE CENTER WHEN VISITING MY GRANDMOTHER. HE WAS SPECIAL TO ME AS I WOULD HELP HIM WITH HIS NEW CELL PHONE,OUR TALKS ETC. WE ALSO ASKED ROY TO JOIN US FOR CHOW MEIN IN THE BACK ROOM HE LIKED THAT, HE WAS A VERY SPECIAL PERSON TO ME & I WILL MISS HIM VERY MUCH. I THOUGHT OF STOPPING BY TO SEE HIM AFTER MY GRANDMOTHER PAST AWAY WHICH WAS SHORTLY BEFORE HE DID. I WILL SURE MISS HIM. GOD BLESS HIS FAMILY.

OF ALL THE WOUNDERFUL CHRISTIAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS I'VE KNOWN JINGLES STANDS OUT AS ONE WHO NEVER TIRED IN SHARING THE GOSPEL, HE PRAYED FOR AND NEVER FORGOT ANY ONE HE MEET. I COMPARE HIM TO DL MOODY. AND HE WILL BE DEARLY MISSED.

We LOVED Jingles!! We met him at Redemption Ministries. May his life work continue to advance the kingdom. He was such a blast and always made us happy and we are so blessed to have known him.

Uncle Roy "Jingles" will be dearly missed. He was to say the least, a very colorful personality. May he rest in peace with his family that await him in heaven.

Mr.Jingles was such a delight to serve at Loaves & Fishes as he always serenaded us with wonderful songs on his harmonica.
Our group will miss him dearly.

We were so blessed to have Jingles in our church in the 1990s. He was a great person and loved the Lord. We believe that he's in a better place.
