Warnert, Martha E. Age 87, longtime resident of West St. Paul, MN. Passed away peacefully on Friday, January 13, 2012. Preceding her in death were her parents, Valentine and Christine Schmitz and husband, Melvin Warnert. Marty is survived by her children, Charles (Irene) Warnert of Eagan, MN, Patricia Warnert of West St. Paul, MN, Mary (Fred) McCoy of Chapel Hill, NC, Wayne Warnert of Mendota Heights, MN; grandchildren, Georgia, Conrad and Rachel McCoy of Chapel Hill, NC; sister, Adeline Zimmerman of Milwaukee, WI; sister-in-law, Georgiana Friedrich of St. Cloud, MN and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, Jan. 17 at Klecatsky and Sons West Chapel (651-457-6200), 1051 So. Robert Street @ Arion in West St. Paul and one hour prior to Mass at church. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM on Wednesday, Jan. 18 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1154 Seminole Ave., West St. Paul, MN. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery with reception to follow. Memorials to the American Kidney Foundation in lieu of flowers are preferred.

To the family of Marty, I remember Marty here at River Heights, she was always a joy. Playing bingo, and playing cards she was fun to be with, and be around. Her family was the most important part of her life. I will always remember her smiling and laughing. Love you Marty!!!
