Hank and family. we the giard girls (Uncle Swede) can't begin to tellm you how bad we feel. God must have really needed Mary to take her so soon. Peggy has been in the hospital and rehab center so she didn't get Lou's and Harriet's call. we will keep you in our prayers. all our love. Peggy, Delores, Cathy and Carole

Family of Mary Mallander,
My special thoughts and prayers are with you during this time as they were with you a many number of years ago at the time of John's passing. I was principal at Elm Creek at that time and I will always remember with great sadness the day I received the call of his illness and then his passing. I know his loss was an extremely difficult time for Mary and all of you. I have always treasured the opportunity that I had to work with John and to be part of your family.
May God's special love and support be with you at this time. I am sure that Mary is celebrating the joy of Heaven with John in our eternal home.

Hank, I was so sorry to hear about the death of Mary, Her being a great mother was so evident in her son, John, who I had the pleasure of teaching with and calling friend for over twenty years. I know her loss is great but her memory will last forever. I will be watching two of my grandsons tomorrow but will be thinking of you (as I do of John each day).
