Nila is the best grandmother I could ever ask for my name is Emma White Im the daughter of Lindsay White i belive she had passed when i was 2 years old. I still remember the day i saw her in the hostpital.

This has been one tough year with out you... Not a day goes by that you aren't on my mind. I love you and miss you so much... I'm sure you are one beautiful Angel above.... Please check in from time to time... Love you forever!

Paul and I and our family will miss seeing Nila by the pool. It will not be the same. She is one classy lady. She always had a kind word for everyone. We loved knowing Nila all these years,it was always so much fun to talk with her!! She was always so young at heart, she is now delighting all our family that has passed before us, she is happy once again! She will missed by all.

Nila I will always remember when we went shopping with our babies in Seattle and everyone thought we were sisters. Great times were had around the pool and I was glad to see Dad so happy again. You will be missed by all those who knew and loved you.

Nila-you amazed me with your ability to stay young at heart. You were always smiling and happy. I enjoyed seeing you at Danny's when Rick and I came to visit. I'll never forget the time we shaved off Rick's beard the first time I met you. You never stopped being that fun-loving lady. Miss you.

Nila was my stepmother and I will keep her in my memories. She was always smiling and full of life. I saw her the last time this past summer when we went to Minnesota. Even then you couldn't keep her down. She was zipping around with her walker and still enjoying life. Rest in peace, Nila.

Although I didn't recognize the last (married) name, the 1950s blue tuxedo-style stewardess uniform caught my attention in the StarTribune Obituaries - then the name Nila connected and I was reunited with an old flying buddy - Nila Kleinsasser. Nila was as kind and sweet in those days as her family and those who knew her more recently have testified. She did many advertising promotions for Northwest Airlines and was an effective good will ambassador. I wish we had spent time together in the intervening years. It was easy to lose touch as we had to resign when we married in those days. A different airline world, it was. I was known then as Anne Billingsley.

My mother fought a courageous battle this last year with remarkable strength and class, she did it with that beautiful smile she wore each and every day of her life, whether things were going well or things were not.



I would like to thank my Moms close friends, Jeanine, Joann and Carrol for continuing to include my mother during these difficult times, the Sunday football games at Lord Fletcher's, the trips shopping and the visits to her room, I know how difficult it was and I thank you for your patience, Love and support.

I would also like to thank the Angels at Presbyterian homes on Lake Minnetonka for the wonderful care and friendship they gave to Nila, she was treated like family, the staff continuously went out of there way to make Nila feel welcome and comfortable, Nila loved the staff as much as they loved her.

First and for most I would like to thank my beautiful wife Tracy who for 30 years was moms dearest freind, they had a relationship that most mother and daughters would envy, traveling together, shopping or just laying around the pool, I know Tracy will miss her greatly and I can't thank her enough for her patience and unconditional love.

I love you Mom and I will miss you..
