I served on the USS America with Sheldon. I learned of his passing only today. I don't know why, but today I did a name search , and am saddened by this news.
My thoughts are with his family, and I'm sure his shipmates will also miss him. Ic3 Brian Violette

As I sit here looking at pictures of Sheldon I can't imagine a world with out him in it. I think of when we were kids and visiting Aunt Bev & Uncle Roger house and I sure get a smile to my face as I remember the trouble Sheldon sure could find, or should I say that trouble could find Sheldon. Jane, Kids, Aunt Bev and Darrin I can't imagine the pain you are feeling but know are thoughts and prayers are with you today and always.

I wanted to send a note to say how sorry I was to hear about Sheldon. I have not seen Sheldon in many years, but I grew up in West Fargo, and in a small community everyone knew everyone. An old high school friend called and told me about the accident. I graduated with Darrin and my brother, Brad graduated with Sheldon. Please know that our thoughts are with all of you during this very difficult time.

Growing up with my cousins Sheldon and Darrin was always adventurous! Some kind of trouble would be lurking around every corner! As adults we've laughed ouselves into tears reminiscing about those good times. I will forever feel a void, and miss Sheldon dearly. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
