Dear Sarah and Ryan,
I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your Dad. Gary was my high school classmate. He spoke about how much he loved you two when I last saw him at a reunion. Please know that you have a huge network of support - - - a large extended family, the many friends your Dad made throughout his lifetime and career, and an even larger community of faith. Those of us who care and send our love to you are many!

Gary was one of the outstanding young talents that Harmon Contract Glass recruited to their industry and he proved his value over and over. The Harmon family extends their sincere condolences to Gary's family.

Sarah and Ryan:
Gary and I grew up together, one mile apart on the farm. We played endless games of kick the can, hide and go seek, apple fights, cob ball, and any kind of games with balls. Even though he would get the short end of the stick being the younger cousin to me and brother to Billy, we continued on in life like brothers.
Beautiful eulogies. Your father and mother thought the world of both of you.
Having lost my father at age 5, I can relate to the void in your heart. Remember to express and not bury the feelings or memories for your father. Remember to encourage and not dissuade those of us who knew your father to talk of him. Although this may never completely fill the void, it will be salve for the soul. Lastly, remember to be just like your mother and father, true to your heart. That will come as easy to you as it did to them.
