Dear Ray,
So sorry to see Lucy passed away. I am sure you had a wonderful life together with so many great memories.
It was good to see you almost six years ago and chat about skiing and the good old days of Minnegasco! Jim thought so much of you.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Aunt Lucille was so important to me and my children since my grandma was lost to me so young. She resembles my grandmother and my own mother so much. The kids called her GGA (Great-Great Aunt). I think she wanted to keep it a secret to others of her age by using the acronym. We would visit and she would have lunch with tea, egg salad, Blackies bakery bread, and eclectic plastic dishes. They loved it because it made them feel so special. We love you Aunt Lu.

Brandes family - We wish to extend our sympathy for the loss of your wife, mother, grandmother. I remember going to the cabin years ago and skiing with her in the beautiful woods. I always thought it wonderful she enjoyed the cabin and outdoors! She was a second mom to John who seemed to be a foster cribbage kid and John always wanted to let Ray win. Ray enjoyed John's pumpkin pie, but Ray wouldn't share any with Lucy. Ray and Lucy shared love for each other, for their church, their family and friends. They are a wonderful family filled with warm loving moments. So our prayers are with you for Lucy's passing and we feel comfort that loving family is there to greet her. With deepest sympathy. P.S. Let us know if we can bring a pumpkin pie over! And also we love and miss you Lucy.

Jean and Family,
Please accept my condolences on your mother's passing. I'll never forget the time I was a guest at your house for supper and took the closest piece of chicken on the plate when it was passed to me. It was the neck. Your brothers teased me, but I politely said that I like the neck. Later that summer we had a picnic and your mother sent a whole tub of chicken necks just for me. She was very thoughtful.

Ray and the whole Brandes Family - Words just can't express how sad we are to hear of Lucy's passing. She was like a second Grandma to our children and grandchildren. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time together with her and the Brandes family at the cabin. Playing cards or just visiting, and enjoying whatever Lucy just baked. She always wanted to share. We will miss her dearly.
Much love,
Mitzi, Mike and Family
