Farrell, James Joseph age 64, of Rosemount, MN, died on July 25, 2013. Survived by his wife of 42 years, Barb; sons, John (Kristin) Farrell and Paul Farrell (Laura Wood); three grandchildren, Zack, Ben, & Meredith; siblings, John, Ed, Irene, & Mary Pat; and many other family members and friends. Also survived by his 2nd family of St. Olaf College students, staff and faculty befriended over 36 years teaching History, American Studies, and in the Paracollege. As a young man, he wanted to become President to change the world. Although never President, Jim changed the world- touching thousands of lives as a teacher, mentor, and friend. Visitation at St. Joan of Arc in Minneapolis on Fri, 8/2 (6:30 pm). Service on Sat, 8/3 (9 am visitation / 10 am service). A second memorial service will be held this fall at St. Olaf College.
