Johnson Family,
I've known Dale since Stan's first hardware opened in Navarre and Dale was one of the kid employees. My mother, Laura Gnitka, worked there in the 60s and 70s and always spoke highly of Dale. My sympathy to the entire family including those grandchildren he dearly loved and enjoyed. We've all lost a good friend and a Navarre historian.

To the Johnson Family,
My husband Bob and I were classmates of Dale's at St. Louis Park High School. When we moved to Excelsior we also became customers at the hardware store in Navarre. My son Jim and his family have also been customers at the store for 20 years also. Dale was a wonderful guy and I know will be missed by all who knew him.

To the Johnson family-I am sorry to hear of the loss of your father/husband/grandpa. I did not have the pleasure of knowing Dale, but I have read the many comments concerning him. The blessings that you all share are of warm memories, an example to follow and the comfort that you are to one another as family. These are gifts from God that he gives to help us through the tough times that are a part of life. They will become more precious as the years pass and will draw your family closer together. Our thouthts and prayers are with you all - Keep on keeping on!

Condolences to the Johnson Family,
I met Dale through John Kokesh. They both were always my great friends. Dale was always interested in helping others and giving support to ICA food Shelf. The memories were always positive ones. What a great person!

Dear Johnson family,
My family has known for years and I had the fortune of working with Dale at the store. Your dad was a great man--honest, hardworking and sincere. I remember many nights closing up shop with him. He was always eager to help customers even half an hour after closing time when the rest of us were out the door. He truly was a legend in Navarre. All the customers loved Dale and he will be missed by many.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dale Johnson has to be one of the nicest guys I ever met.I met Dale through his son Kieth.Dale and I discovered we shared the same birthday. So over the years we shared birthdays lunches. I enjoyed his stories of Kieth growing up.When my son John was a little guy Dale showed up with a beautiful handmade Truck that he had made. Dale was funny and had a heart of gold.Dale was a Humble Servant of the Lord.Until we meet again my Friend,I will think of you on our birthday . My life is better for having had Dale in it. My sympathy to the Johnson Family.

The Johnson Boys,
Your dad was a hard working, talented man that I am proud to know as my uncle. As a young boy I remember his smile and his way of joking around with my dad and the rest of my uncles. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Deepest sympathy,
