Dear Chalmers family,
We hold dear our memories of being with you and Joan as we were growing up. They were simply some of the best times of our lives! Peter and I are happy to be surrounded by Joan's wonderful creations in clay. We enjoy them every day.
I like to think of Joan, Dick, Jeanne and Don, continuing their wonderful friendship and having a blast together once again. XO, Cath & Peter

Your mom always had a big smile on her face and loved you kids so much. Uncle Dicky, she was a wonderful woman and you of course, a very lucky man to have her in your life. With much love Holly Chamlers Hiller.

WE have lots of wonderful memories of Joan. Dick and Joan planned a wonderful trip to Hawaii for us. Lots of fun on the river. She will be missed by our family.

Dear Chalmers, We are sad to think that our dear Joan has left us and you. We will always remember her wonderful spirit and infectious laugh and her care in creating a beautiful home.
Growing up Joan was one of the adults that inspired me the most to live well and work with joy. Later on, it was always dear to receive her letters and always the first Christmas card of every year.
She is missed. We are happy that her character has imprinted itself on her and Dick's wonderful offspring.
Much Love to all the Chalmers.

Joan and I worked together in Minnesota. She was a shining star for so many artists. It was a privilage to have known and worked with her. She was a great colleague and friend. Bob Booker, Former ED, Minnesota State Arts Board, Current ED, Arizona Commission on the Arts

Dick and Family, so sorry for your loss. As you know, Joan was a great supporter of artists, and her writing captured their stories. It was a great pleasure to serve artists with her and I always appreciated her insight.
