STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mr. Willie Earl Wilkerson, age 70, passed into rest Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at his residence. He was a Bulloch County native and a retired employee of Bulloch Fertilizer Company. Mr. Wilkerson was a member of the Mission Outreach Ministries, Inc.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 41 years, Mrs. Jeanette Delories Wilkerson; Statesboro, Ga.; three children, Mr. Daron Canty, Mr. Bobby Jackson and Ms. Kateina Wilkerson, all of Statesboro, Ga.; a sister, Mrs. Joyce Sutton, Richmond, Va.; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Mr. Wilkerson will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Mission Outreach Ministries, Inc. with the pastor, Bishop Virgil Badie, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Family visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6-7 p.m. in the chapel of Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
