SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Mr. Jerry Wilford Beasley, age 77, died Tuesday at his residence. He was a native of Statesboro, Georgia, and was raised in the Pulaski Community. Jerry resided in Savannah for over 40 years. He was a carpenter by trade and many years ago started J & B Millworks in Savannah, which he still owned and operated until his death.
Surviving are two sons, Terry Lee Beasley of Bloomingdale and Mark Van Beasley of Savannah; a grandson, Terry Lee Beasley Jr. of Bloomingdale; his dear friend, co-worker and care giver, Emma Cruz of Savannah; and his longtime companion, Barbara Kingsbury of Savannah. Many cousins, close friends and business associates also survive.
The graveside service and burial will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Beasley Family Cemetery in Bulloch County.
The family will receive friends following the service.
