GROSS, Jr., Johann Johann Gross, Jr., age 64, of Del Valle, TX, died Thursday, November 23, 2017 at home after a long illness. He was born in Attnang-Puchheim, Austria to Johann and Margaret (Faisthuber) Gross, Sr. Throughout his life he enjoyed the outdoors walking in the park and camping. He had a green thumb with plants. He loved watching all the car shows, reading car magazines and working on cars. In recent years he enjoyed his Santa Clause collection. He also liked reading motivational and inspirational books. He had such a warm and caring heart. As hard as his struggles were, he did his best to enjoy life and felt blessed with every day. Appreciation and thank you to Hospice Austin for their compassionate care and support. Johann was preceded in death by his parents, Johann and Margaret Gross, Sr. and brother-in-law Brian Wittstruck. His wife's parents Alfred and Josephine Lee, brother-in-law Robert Lee and nephew, Corey Eide. He is survived by his wife, Alice (Lee) Gross, two sisters, Brigite Wittstruck of Town of Tonawanda, NY, Rosemary (Thomas) Kramer of North Tonawanda, NY, two brothers, Robert (Nancy Stewart) Gross of North Tonawanda, NY, Richard (Char) Gross of Peoria, AZ, two step sons, Travis (Lisa) Brist and their children, Emily, Allison and Caleb of Camas, WA, Byron (Ruby) Brist and their children, Long and Hailey of Plano, TX, nieces and nephews, Cameron, Taylor, Jennifer (Joshua) Snyder, Stephanie, Barbara, Haley and Tanner. Two sisters-in-law Linda (Nathan) Eide of Fergus Falls, MN, Barbara Lee of Fargo, ND and their families.
