Domingo P. Lugo 1923-2013 Our beloved Domingo P. Lugo, age 89, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, May 13, 2013. He was preceded in death by parents Daniel and Victoriana Lugo; 2 brothers; 8 sisters and son Tony G. Lugo. Mr. Lugo served in the United States Army during World War II. He retired from the food service industry and became a crossing guard until the age of 80. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Rosie G. Lugo; sons Domingo Lugo Jr., Rudy Lugo (Bertie); daughters Margaret Rangel (Gilbert), Gloria Chapin (Glenn), Carmen Duran(Joe); 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; brother Daniel Lugo Jr. (Angelita) Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons and great-grandsons Richard Lugo, Rudy Lugo Jr., Andrew Lugo, Tony Lugo Jr. Zachary Duran and Paul Maldonado Jr. Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Wednesday with a Prayer Service to follow at 7:30 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., Thursday at San Jose Catholic Church 2435 Oak Crest. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
