LYON, Doris M. Doris M. Lyon, age 89, died unexpectedly on 12/29/2020 at St. David's Hospital. Doris was born on 9/8/1931 in Weesatche, Texas, the daughter of Albertine Schneider Conrad and Paul Conrad. She was the youngest of three siblings. She had a sister, Selma and a brother, Raymond. Doris was a beloved member of the community and was very active in her church, Berkley United Methodist Church. Doris liked to help others because she was kind, compassionate and loving to every person she came into contact with. In her 89 years, Doris never met a stranger. She loved everyone she met and always had a story, ready to tell. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and talking on the phone with her many friends. In addition to her parents, siblings, and Dale, Doris was predeceased by her Grandson, Eric Allen Henderson, who passed away in 2017. Surviving in addition to her daughter, Pam Henderson, are her son Dennis Lyon of Austin, her daughter Stacey Lyon Jamail and husband Jeff Jamail of Austin, her grandson Mickey Lyon Jamail and wife Reagan Jamail of Austin, and granddaughter Meredith Tobler and husband Drew Tobler of Fayetteville, NC. A private service of remembrance will be at Harrell Funeral Home however, the service will be available virtually. All are welcome to attend the grave sight service, directly following at Cook Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Central Texas Food Bank.
