I just learned of John's passing and it deeply saddens me to know I will never see him again. He shared Christmas with us a few years ago and never mentioned it was his birthday. We met at Whole Foods and became friends. Sleep peacefully my friend.

I will always remember Uncle John as an entertainer, as a man who could lift up spirits around him and turn an afternoon at Nana's into an adventure. I miss him. We all miss him very much.

Dearest Cousin Pamela,
Please count Jane and me among your family sharing a broken heart. Although we knew he had a long battle with multiple sclerosis, we were not prepared to lose him so young. May God's love and family support gradually make your pain tolerable.

I met John at Whole Foods Market and always enjoyed running into him there over the years. He was one of the brightest, kindest, most interesting, and clearly most talented people I've ever known, and I will miss him very much. My heart goes out to his loved ones at this sad and difficult time.
