David and the Booth Family,
Thank you for welcoming Mary's Davidson friends to your church this week. We are all heartbroken and deeply saddened by your loss. Mary was a special person; full of quick wit and mirth and laughter and a "sister to us all." I pray that you find peace in God's love...the peace that surpasses all understanding.

To Mary's loved ones,
As a Davidson classmate of Mary's I am greatly saddened to learn of her battle with cancer. Please accept my deepest condolences.
To honor Mary and her love of France, I found this quote from Victor Hugo: "When I go to the grave I can say, as others have said, 'My day's work is done.' But I cannot say, 'My life is done.' My work will recommence the next morning. The tomb is not a blind alley; it is a thoroughfare. It closes upon the twilight, but opens upon the dawn."

I thank God for Mary's life and pray for your peace and comfort until you are with her again.
