ALBA, Nickolas "Nico" Yglecias Our beloved Nickolas "Nico" Yglecias Alba, age 72, resident of Kyle, was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 4, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Victoriano and Carolina Alba. Mr. Alba proudly served our country as a member of the U.S. Marines and is a Purple Heart recipient. Our country is grateful for his service. Nico is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Amelia Mendieta Alba, and their children, Joanne Borke and her husband, Steven, Ramiro Alba, Johnny Alba, and Daniel Alba and his wife, Sharon; his grandchildren, Christopher Alba-Borke, Nicole Borke, Ayden Alba, and Tatyana Alba; great grandchildren, Isabella Alba-Borke, Gabriella Alba-Borke, and Donovan Beeson; his brothers and sisters, Santos Alba, Mickey Mamone, Tina Juliano and her husband, Leslie, Nieves Alba, Paula Stewart and her husband, Jerry, Victor Alba and his wife, Dominga, Sara Alba, and Domingo Alba and his wife, Becky; and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m., the following morning, Friday, November 9, 2018, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 E. 9th St., Austin, Texas.
