Patricia Harper Villegas Obituary
VILLEGAS, Patricia Harper Patricia Harper Villegas, of Austin, Texas passed away on November 27, 2017. She was born on February 12, 1947. She was a devoted Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Martha Harper; brothers, Charles Curtis and Bobby; and sister, Betty Jean. Patricia is survived by her husband, Edward G. Villegas; Sister, Sharon Farris (husband John); children, Jack and Eddie (wife Stephanie); Grandchildren, Jack Jr. (JC), Wade, Victoria, Amanda and Veronica; and her great grandchild Bentley. Patricia was a native to Austin, Texas and was a faithful Longhorn fan (except when they played the Razorbacks). She loved her family and friends and was very involved with her church. Patricia enjoyed teaching Sunday school for many years and was a member of the bereavement committee at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. Patricia worked for the Austin Police Department for over ten years, and then took time to raise her children. She returned to work for fourteen years for several different Austin Insurance companies until her retirement. Visitation will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 N. IH-35 in Pflugerville, Texas on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. A rosary will follow the visitation, starting at 7:00 P.M. in Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks. Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 12041 Bittern Hollow in Austin, Texas at 11:00 A.M. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Parish Hall following the Mass. If anyone would like to make a donation in Patricia's name, please do so to the ALS Foundation of Round Rock, Texas.
