Sean Connery the Scottish-born actor who rocketed to fame, he was a Oscar Winner as we are all mourning the passing of a very talented actor, he will be truly missed and not be forgotten, thanks for the memories that you have given to us along with the laughter as well. Also, he played Professor Henry Jones along with another Co-star, Harrison Ford, recalls the fun he had with Sean while making 1989's Indiana Jones and Last Crusade, in which Sean played his eccentric father, Henry. "You don't know pleasure until someone pays you to take Sean Connery for a ride in the sidecar of a Russian motorcycle." Harrison gushes. "God, we had fun." I have read that he was Knighted by Elizabeth 11 in 2020, the star remained very active in the movement for Scotland's independence. "I am not an Englishman." he said. "I am a Scotsman...and I will always be one. We all know that he is in a good place now, the angels are taking good care of him. My thoughts, prayers are with you. Also, your legacy will still live on with the movies that you did.

Sean has left his mark on us through his work in the movies. By far the best James Bond and myself and my sons agree. His style and manners are a great example and entertaining and will be for many years to come. Those that enjoyed him live were very fortunate indeed.

I first saw Sir Sean as Hotspur in Shakespeare's "Henry IV Part I" which was a part of "An Age of Kings" in 1963. He has been my favorite actor ever since, I have an extensive photo and article collection and as far as I'm concerned we'll never see the likes of him again. I most heartily offer my condolences and prayers to his family. I'm sure he's looking down at us right now with that fantastic smile.

Sean was one of my favorite actors. I look forward to the day God begins the resurrection process as Christ demonstrated while on earth. He said “don’t marvel or be shocked the hour is coming when those in the grave will be resurrected”. What a grand day that will be! Until then RIP.

Sean was instrumental in me becoming an agent for the United States. It all all started from me watching his oo7 films when I was a teenager.

I would be in the kitchen and this gentleman's accent would come on the television in the lounge room and I knew straight away it belonged to Sir Sean Connery. The laughs we had when he was in his movie with Harrison Ford on the back of the motor bike-and the castle wall kept revolving - then he sailed his submarine to safety in Hunt for Red October. We will never forget you dear Sir especially as James Bond 007. We send to your family all our love and condolences.

I started reading about Sean Connery, the man and his life, in October, out of curiosity, and found myself inspired by his wit, charm and life experiences. He was a product of the Great Generation, of ordinary people, who made their lives extraordinary with their bravery and humanity. He modeled to the world a loving legacy that extended beyond his film career. To his family my condolences and prayers. I’d like to think he escorted my mom to heaven as they both died within a week of each other.

I had to lite a candle for this man, as even though he is gone his light still shines so bright. The fact is I really didnt know him but I did. With all of the roles he did from James Bond to Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade which is my favorite. I mean all of his lines from that movie are so iconic, such as when he says" may he who illuminated this illuminate me"

Anyways if his family reads this, friends etc just wanted you to know he was so loved even by people he didn't know and looked up to him since I was a little kid and thought he would have been so cool to have as grandpa. May he R.I.P and forever be in God's arms, lite and love forever. Me and my family watch a lot of his movies all the time and kept our mind off this troubled world and the fact that me and my family are on the verge of being homeless and have no help.

Everyone is leaving out "First Knight", and his portrayal as King Arthur. Great casting, action, costume, videography, and the storyline held... I would say that Richard Gere, Julia Ormond, and Ben Cross (excellent 'bad guy'), Liam Cunningham (GoT), and Sir John Gielgud, Jerry Zucker directing, would all agree. It still holds well- made in '95. Sean Connery as Bond, yes...but ironically, as England's King Arthur also- "works". Ransom (74) with Ian McShane was good; Bridge Too Far- all-star again, and of course Red October...iconic and believable. great actor, and it seems he brought the best out of other actors...watching his movies now will be a bit melancholy- but time does march on. First Bond...First Knight.

I grew up believing that this man was my future husband. I didn't care about the age difference because, all I saw was handsome, charming man. He was my crush and still is. RIP my love!

For those of us that are left behind

Our condolences go out to the family of Sean Connery. What an actor! He will truly be missed by family and friends.

Great Actors demonstrate for, and inspire great actions and attitudes from, their audiences. Sean Connery was such an actor. In each of his roles, he demonstrated courage, competence and conscientiousness, even during his most uncertain and vulnerable moments. His 007 compilation of work first inspired a 12 year old boy to practice the qualities mentioned as much as any classical literary work ever did. I am in my sixties now, and I am still inspired to emulate his best qualities whenever I pull and watch a BOND movie from my collection. To save people (often a beautiful young woman) and complete the mission, no matter the difficulties, are hallmarks of any good story, and Sean Connery was the hero of all his silver screen stories. We are remembered by the lives we touch and the work we leave behind. What a good memory this great actor has left behind.

RIP Sir Sean Connery the one and only one Mr. James Bond.

It catches me by such a surprise, and not a great one, for It really has me in a state of shock, as well as grief, at hearing that Sir Sean Connery has passed this mortal coil. I, personally, recall everytime that I’d seen him as either James Bond 007, Robin Hood, Richard The Lionhearted, as Morone from The Untouchables, and myriad of other roles: he’ll most definitely be missed, but, has also Inspired me to continue, and further my acting career. So, that being said, I’m keeping in my prayers the rest of his family, whom he left behind, and now I pray, that the Holy Spirit gives all great comfort right now. God Bless.

Sir Sean Connery, will forever be a legend as an actor, a father and Grandfather. He was the coolest and most calm and skilled actor of all time. I loved this Guy! He will be Greatly missed. I have all of his Bond movies on VHS. Need to burn them to DVD. My favorite line was in Goldfinger when he is about to have a laser burn his mountain fries off and he says to gold finger” Do you expect me to talk?” And Goldfinger replies” No Mr. Bond, I expect you to Die!”. I laughed so hard when i first watched that scene. I was in tears laughing so hard. Sir Sean connery’s facial expression made that moment with that pun statement. I was but 4-5 when i first fell in love with Sean Connery in "Darby O'Gill and the wee folk". Being born an American with 2 Scottish Parents perhaps made me partial to a fellow Scot up on the Big Screen. But i've never fallen out of love with him. He is by far the Quintissential Scot.
