BOTELLO, Virginia Virginia Botello, age 53, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at The Christopher House in Austin, Texas. She was born on December 7, 1964 in Austin, Texas to Raymond Botello and Benita Flores. She was a 1983 graduate of Austin High School. She worked as a QC Auditor at Shop LC and loved to share stories of her work experiences. She is preceded in death by her mother, Benita Flores. She is survived by her son, Kevin Longoria; and brothers, David (Sylvia) Flores, Richard Flores, Henry Flores, Daniel Flores and sister, Jesusita Flores and many nieces, nephews, and Colorado cousins. Family, friends, and others whose lives Virginia touched are invited to the Visitation at Affordable Burial and Cremation Service, 13009 Dessau Rd Suite M, Austin, Texas from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. on Monday, August 13, 2018. Rosary will start at 6pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1206 E 9th St, Austin, Texas. Virginia will be laid to rest next to her mother at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S IH35, Austin, Texas 78704. For those who wish to reminisce, grieve, and support each other, refreshments will be provided after the burial at the Ocasio residence, 805 Lydia, Austin, Texas 78702. Many thanks to the Ocasio family and the extended family/community who volunteered to host this gathering. The family wishes to thank the exceptional staff at Dell Medical Center whose professionalism and compassionate care is greatly appreciated. Gratitude is also extended to Hospice Austin, especially to Jennifer Gangstadt, who provided so much assistance and genuine caring to Virginia. Last but not least is gratitude to the staff at Christopher House who cared for Virginia in her last hours.
