Obituary Condolences

Dr. Crispin E. Sanchez Dr. Crispin E. Sanchez passed away March 18, 2008. Born December 15, 1925, in Houston and raised in Gonzales. At 17, and with his parents' blessing, he enlisted in the US Air Corp to serve his country in World War II. A member of the Hell's Angels 303rd Bomb Group, he completed 35 missions over Germany and Europe. Graduating Cum Laude, he received his Doctorate in Education from Northwestern University. His educational career spanned some 50+ years beginning as a classroom teacher with LISD and continuing thru to serve as Dean of Student Services and Athletic Director at Laredo Junior College. He served on numerous civic and educational Boards and Committees throughout his lifetime. He is survived by his wife, Dora A. Sanchez; and his five children, 13 grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro R. and Guadalupe V. Sanchez. Donations will serve the Texas School for the Blind.
