My dear Jake,
As your cousin I have so many memories of our childhood. You were always such a "bright light" in a rather ordinary life in Fayetteville. You were so very loved by so many including Grandma Folk and of course your mom and siblings.Everyone knew from such a young age that you had such talen tand would leave a special mark on this planet. You are dearly missed and I will always treasure the memories we created!Much Love and Peace my friend!

Jefferson would have still been my very good friend, even if he wasn't one of the best artists I have ever known. I enjoyed our road trips, such as to Luckenbach and the Saxon Pub and will miss having him over for dinner and hanging out with him at the Hilltop. I hope he truly knew how much his friendship meant to all of us.

It was my pleasure to know Jefferson, to see his art and even be a part of it occasionally. He was a gentle soul and a true artist, consumed by and dedicated to his work.

Jefferson made a profound impact on me as an artist and film maker. Poodie Locke introduced us although he passed before we began our collaboration. The last time I saw Poodie he left me with one sentence " Andy, Jefferson needs you to tell his story" the irony of that was I needed Jefferson.

Jefferson was a very special man. I was blessed to be his friend. He will be remembered, not only for his art, but also for his ability to communicate clearly. Jefferson, rest in peace.
