I was the certification officer for El Paso ISD in the early 90's when I met Director McCullough. I loved her leadership and I have thought of her many times during my career. She was a wonderful leader and an example to all that new her. May God bring you comfort during this sad time. Marcia Daniels

“Oh, heart, if one should say to you that the soul perishes like the body, answer that the flower withers, but the seed remains.” Kahlil Gibran

To the Family,
Mrs. McCullough's embodiment of intelligence, faith, elegance, grace, and poise was a great inspiration to me. As my Sunday school teacher, organizational leader and mentor, her life's work contributed to my early life's lessons. She will be missed. God Bless!

I did not get to know this trailblazer until a month ago. I was visiting in Austin and was introduced to Terry and Alice and they introduced me to Ms. McCullough and I was mesmerized by the glow and beauty of a woman with so much love given her by Terry, Alice and Alice daughters and to hear the love of Vanessa sharing the love she had for her mother and her many accomplishments. Vanessa you are a trailblazer following your mom's path. God bless you and James for all that you do for the youth of not just East Austin, but Austin and beyond.
