Estelle Schieffer Obituary
Estelle Schieffer Estelle Schieffer, age 94, of Austin, Texas passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012. She was born on March 27, 1918, to Arthur and Ida Schubert in Guadalupe County, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Hunter H. Schieffer. Estelle graduated from Seguin High School in 1935 as valedictorian, and from the University of Texas in 1960 with the highest 4-year grade point average in her class in Business Administration. She was a lifelong member of and volunteer for the Lutheran church. Estelle is survived by (3 children, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren) her son, Jerry Schieffer and his wife Janice, of Plano; daughter Annette Margo and her husband Frank, of McAllen; daughter Carla Jenson and her husband Gary, of Austin; grandson Jack Schieffer and his wife Christina Ritter, of Lexington, Kentucky; grandson Erik Schieffer and his wife Jessica, of Flower Mound; grandson Steve Margo and his wife Heather, of Edmonds, Washington; grandson Scott Margo and his wife Daisy Lai, of Taipei, Taiwan; grandson Jared Jenson and his wife Hillary, of Austin; grandson Ryan Jenson and his wife Missy, of San Marcos; granddaughter Whitney Jenson, of Galveston; great-grandchildren Matthew and Amanda Margo of Edmonds, Washington; Vincent and Laura Margo of Taipei, Taiwan; Henry and Miles Schieffer, of Flower Mound; Marlena Schieffer of Lexington, Kentucky; Ben and Wyatt Jenson of Austin; and Addison Jenson of San Marcos. We will miss our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. The family would like to recognize and thank Guadalupe Gonzales who has been a caregiver and companion for Estelle for almost nine years. A graveside funeral service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 10, 2012. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to St. John's Lutheran Church of Austin, Texas; Lutheran Social Services of the South with offices in Austin, Texas; Hospice Austin of Austin, Texas; or to the .
