Frank Andrew DiTucci Frank Andrew DiTucci, 58, passed away on 3/25/13 in Austin, TX. He was born on 2/28/55 in Somerville, MA to Anna and Ray DiTucci. Frank lived in Boston until he was ten years old when his family moved to San Pedro, CA. He graduated from St. Anthony High School in Long Beach, CA. After high school Frank attended St. Edwards University in Austin, TX where he met his best friend and love of his life Patty Salmon. Frank received his BA from St. Edwards with degrees in Psychology and Social Work. Frank became a Licensed Polygraph Examiner after taking courses at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. Frank enjoyed the many opportunities he had for teaching, customer service, and working with law enforcement and legislators while providing leadership as the Executive Officer of the Texas Polygraph Examiners Board and when Executive Director of the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveyors. Frank's work and advocacy for those less fortunate than he was truly valued. He enjoyed helping multi-handicapped and developmentally disabled individuals while Project Director in Mexia, TX. Frank married Patty on 7/7/78 in Dallas, TX. Frank celebrated each day of his 34 years of marriage to Patty with love and laughter. He thoroughly enjoyed their numerous adventures and the many fine people encountered during his life. Frank's volunteer work with South Austin Caregivers was especially important to him. He devoted many hours to helping others "enhance the abundance of life." His service to the blind community was also truly appreciated. Frank was an avid outdoorsman who loved the water. He loved fishing with his wife, family, and friends. All loved eating what he caught and cooked, especially when accompanied by delicious fruits and vegetables from his garden. Frank was a unique individual, and was a kind and compassionate friend to all. He will be sorely missed. Frank is survived by his wife Patty of Austin,TX, his parents Anna and Ray DiTucci of San Pedro, CA, his mother-in-law Helen Salmon of Dallas, TX, his sister Agnes DiTucci, his brother Anthony (Julie)DiTucci, Julie's father Pete Dragrich, and sister Cindy (Vince) Pirozzi, all of San Pedro CA, sisters-in-law Nancy(Tom)Free, Sioux Falls, SD, and Margaret (Greg)Seidel, Dallas, TX, brothers-in-law Joe Salmon, Buda, TX, John (Mary-Ann) Salmon, Irving, TX, Paul Salmon,Washington, DC, and Tim (Molly) Salmon, Dallas, TX, and nieces and nephews Christian DiTucci, Andrew, Megan, and Peter DiTucci, Kara and Michael Pirozzi, Kate, Sara, Colette, Margaret, Marie and TJ Free, Ann Marie, Jack, Peter and Teresa Salmon, Ashley, Martin, Shauna and Will Seidel, Brady and Keely Salmon, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins in Boston MA, and Italy. Frank was preceded in death by his father-in-law Jack Salmon and Julie's mother Lucy Pirozzi. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm on Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 North Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX. On April 1, 2013, the funeral service will be held in the Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel, St. Edward's University, 3001 South Congress Avenue, Austin, TX.
