KUHLMANN, Raymond "Buster" Raymond "Buster" Kuhlmann passed away Saturday, July 15th, at the age of 72. Buster was born January 14, 1945 to Raymond Kuhlmann Senior & Maria Kuhlmann in Fredericksburg, where he was raised. As a high school senior, Buster started working as a part-time dispatcher. On October 7, 1965, he married Gladys Kuhlmann in Fredericksburg. He earned his certification from Texas A&M University before joining Fredericksburg PD and working his way up to sergeant. Buster spent 18 years at Round Rock Police Department and served as Police Chief from 1995 to 1998. Buster Kuhlmann is survived by his daughter, Kayvon Leath & husband Bryan of Liberty Hill; son, Reece Kuhlmann & wife Angel of Liberty Hill; 5 grandchildren: Chelsey Henry and husband, Daniel Henry; Chad Leath, Clayton Kuhlmann, Kinsey Kuhlmann, Haley Kuhlmann. Buster was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jimmy Kuhlmann and Jackie Kuhlmann; and sister, Mary Ellen Kuhlmann. Funeral arrangements for Buster Kuhlmann will be held Thursday, July 20th at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Beck Funeral Home, 15709 Ranch Road 620 North, Austin, TX 78717.
