Early on in his World of Prophesy publications, Texe was one of my first radio interviews. He gladly came on to The Glory To God Show over WWCR shortwave radio where we talked about the times. I was young then and he was so gracious. I have copies of most of his books, World of Prophesy and Power of Prophesy news letters. We take for granted that people like Texe Marrs will pass some day. I miss those days when shortwave radio was king, and Texe sat on the crown.

You are irreplacable, Major Marrs. I saw "Circle of Intrigue" in a Christian bookstore and had a sense of instant recognition. For both you and you work. That should be impossible.

That man was a guidepost.

Somehow I missed that Pastor Marrs had passed away. My mother listened to his broadcasts and read his newsletter. I also enjoyed the material. I am thankful for everything that he did--especially his courage and patriotism, rare things in these dark times.

When I think of Texe Marrs I think of a faithful servant of God. And that is precisely what God called us to be, faithful. God talked about Texe in Matthew 25:20-21, "And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord."

Texe was one of those who was always gaining more talents. Texe was a true steward/manager of what God placed into his hands.

1 Corinthians 4:1-2, "Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful."

We will be meeting in the presence of our Savior pretty soon Texe.

May you have peace and comfort during this time. Though time passes, the memories of your loved one never fade. May they continue to be cherished and may the God of all consolation give you peace during these grieving times. (Jeremiah 29:11,12)
