Elizabeth "Betty" Matovich
Elizabeth (Betty) Matovich passed away peacefully at home on May 10, 2018 at the age of 90.
She was born in Silverton, Oregon to Reinard and Inga Holm, both proud Norwegian immigrants. She had 6 siblings, her brother Donald Holm being the last surviving.
She married Robert (Bob) Heimerdinger in 1948 and had three children: Sally, Richard and Nancy. Robert died in 1959.
She married Paul Matovich in 1965 and they were married for 51 years until his death in 2016. They had a daughter Julie and he had two daughters: Robin and Rhonda.
The family would like to thank Dr. Juliette Powers and Willamette Valley Hospice for their care and support. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to: Willamette Valley Hospice.
Her family and friends will always be grateful for the gift that was her life. A gathering to celebrate her life will be held on June 24th from 1 to 4PM at her home. Assisting the family is Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
