Leslie Howard Livengood

Leslie Howard Livengood passed away on January 7, 2021 at his home in Salem, OR. He was 69.

He was born in San Diego, CA on October 24, 1951 to Elvis and Beatrice Livengood.

Les loved everything baseball and was an accomplished mountain climber and member of the Mazamas Mountaineering Organization. It was this connection that led to him being at the top of Mt Hood the morning that Mt St. Helens erupted.

He was a good brother and friend to many. Les loved the Lord and was dedicated to the word of God, sharing his faith with others.

Les is survived by his brother, John Livengood; nieces, Colette Livengood-Graham, Vick Phillips-Ferrer: and nephew Greg Phillips. He is preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Livengood, who passed in May of 2010.

A private graveside service is being planned for a later date.
