LLoyd Crabb Obituary
LLOYD CRABB

September 22, 1922 - May 15, 2013

MONMOUTH - On May 15th, 2013 Lloyd Crabb departed this world to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Born September 22nd, 1922 to parents Jesse and Ida Belle Crabb, Lloyd was the youngest of ten children. He was raised on a farm on Lancaster Drive, which used to be in the countryside east of Salem, Oregon. On October 3rd, 1947 Lloyd married Betty Jean Auer of Rickreall, Oregon. They were happily married for 55 years until Betty's death in 2002. They had two children: Steven Lloyd Crabb and MaryDell Crabb-Kersh, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

During his life Lloyd worked hard to support his family as a farmer, a newspaper carrier, an appliance repairman, and a real estate agent. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, playing games, skiing and notably, gardening. On their small acreage in Independence Lloyd and Betty cultivated vegetables, fruit trees, berry bushes and famously beautiful flowers, including a rose garden with over 150 different rose varieties! More importantly than any of these things, however, was Lloyd's strong faith in Jesus Christ. He and his wife were faithful members of Monmouth Christian Church for over 50 years. Lloyd will always be remembered by those who loved him as a good and righteous man of godly character, a selfless man and a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed.

The Memorial Service is planned for Thursday, May 23rd at 11:30AM at the Monmouth Christian Church. Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center is caring for the family. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.dallastribute.com
