Marjorie Ciyou Obituary

Marjorie Ciyou June 20, 1925 - May 17, 2010 SALEM - Marjorie Ciyou went to be with the Lord on May 17, 2010. She was born June 20, 1925 in Peoria, Illinois to William and Dorothea Feger. She was the oldest of five children; two sisters, Barbara and Catherine; and two brothers, Jack and Thomas. Margie, as she preferred being called, married David Ciyou on September 10, 1946. They had two daughters, Linda and Diana. Throughout the years they lives in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, California, Arizona and Oregon. The family enjoyed traveling and seeing the sights of our great country. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Glen) Birdsong; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Catherine; brother, Jack; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tom; sister, Barb; Dave, her husband of 56 years; daughter, Diana; grandchild, Andrew. Margie spent her last year and a half at Rosewood Court where she was cared for, loved and treated like a "Queen". A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 12th at the clubhouse of Royal Mobile Estates, 4652 Avens St. NE, Salem, Oregon.
