Harold B. Goff Jr., 91, of Green Acres and formerly of St. Augustine, passed into the hands of the good Lord on Dec. 25, 2017, at Trust Bridge Hospice in Boynton Beach. He was born in Boston, Mass. He was a World War II veteran in the U.S. Navy and was a Boston retired police officer. Harold was very active in VFW post 3588. He Loved to dance and loved his family with all his heart. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia, and his son Harold "Sonny" Goff III.
He is survived by his wife, Lorna Goff, of Green Acres; daughter, Virginia Plummer, of St Augustine; son, Steven Goff, and daughter-in-law, Karen Goff, of Quincy, Mass.; sister, Dorothy Bourne, of Arizona; brother, Bobby Goff, of Cape Cod, Mass.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Craig Funeral Home in St. Augustine. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in the Cathedral-Basilica of St. Augustine, with the Rev. Fr. D. Terrance Morgan as celebrant. Burial will be in San Lorenzo Cemetery.
