James A. Wilson, Sr.
A Loving Father, Devoted Son, Committed Grandfather, Loyal-Trusted Brother, Brother-in-Law, Uncle, Cousin and Friend
James was born the oldest of twins to the late Charles Anthony ""Rabbit"" Wilson and Betty Ann Stirrup, on Christmas Eve of 1969. He was a native of St. Augustine, and attended local schools.
James was a hard worker, and started employment at a young age selling papers for St. Augustine Record when he was only nine years old. James graduated from St. Augustine HS, where he loved to play football. After graduating from high school James worked several places, but made his career working at Florida East Coast Railroad (FEC) and briefly for The City of Jacksonville until his health declined. James accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of Restoration Time Deliverance Center, Inc. James loved the Lord and his family, and if you knew James you know he loved his family, to eat, talk and laugh. James enjoyed football, he was a long time St. Augustine High School Fan, and the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was also dedicated to watching Monday Night WWE Wrestling. He was a humble fellow.
On Sunday Jan. 7, 2018, during a brief stay at Kindred Hospital NF, Green Cove Springs, Florida. God chose to remove our loved one from this earth.
In addition to his father, James was preceded in rest by his daughter Jamie A. Wilson.
He leaves to cherish his memories: daughters: Alesia L. Wilson, Jaliya T. Wilson (Jacksonville); son: James A. Wilson Jr. (Jacksonville); grandchildren: Zerian, Zora, Ziyon Wilson, Jamie V. Wilson-Carswell; mother: Betty A. Stirrup; sisters: Patrice C.A. (TJ)Fleming, Cheryl A. (Connie Lee) Lyons; brothers: his twin, John (Shannon) Wilson, Tony S. (Adrian) Lyon; uncle: Jimmy L.
