Stephanie Wilson "Stevie" Rayborn Lt. USN Obituary
Stephanie "Stevie" Wilson Rayborn, LT USN, age 32, of St. Augustine, passed away on April 25, 2017, at SHARP Chula Vista Medical Center, Chula Vista, California, surrounded by her family. Born in Tampa, Florida, Stephanie moved to St. Augustine as an infant before relocating to Boone County, Kentucky, where she was a 2003 graduate of Ryle High School. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida in 2007, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology, and where she was a member of the Criminal Justice & Law Honor Society.

In 2008, Stephanie graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. Stephanie was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy in 2009, serving two tours in the Middle East aboard the USS San Jacinto (CG-56), and more recently the USS Gravely (DDG-107). The past year, Stephanie had been serving as a Military Liaison Officer at Defense Logistics Agency in San Diego, California. Above all, Stephanie was a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many, and she will be deeply missed.

Stephanie is survived by her husband, Stephen "Aaron" Rayborn of North Carolina along with his parents, Stephen and JoBeth Rayborn and maternal grandmother, Billie Whitlock Lemon; Stephanie's parents, Stephen and Evelyn Wilson of St. Augustine; sisters, Monica Wilson (Billy) and Kelly Jones (Wayne), both of St. Augustine; paternal grandmother, Marilyn Walker Wilson of Tampa; nieces, Morgan Myers, Darion Edwards, Madison Edwards, Veronika Wells and Hana Wells; and nephew, Will Liebner; and many loved aunts, uncles and cousins.

Chapel Services will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 5, 2017, at St. Johns Family Funeral Home, 385 State Road 207, St. Augustine, FL 32084. Committal services with military honors and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Stephanie's memory to S.A.F.E., at www.safe-pet-rescue-fl.com.
