dawn crysler Obituary

It is with tremendous sadness that I need to announce the passing of my sister, dawn e crysler. dawn was a shining light in her mom's and dad's eyes (Judy and Bob) (I, of course am the other). My husband Jay gained a sister some 29 years ago. My children Emily and Aiden adored their very not boring aunt. dawn loved and was loved by her partner Kirk and his sons Liam and Dylin (Tracy) and grandson Cy. Kirk and Kevin crysler (dawn's cat) regularly competed for dawn's affection. Kevin won many of those fights. dawn talked to absolutely everyone and loved all of her peeps from school, Rice Rd. Greenhouses, Pelham, The St. Catharines Downtown, Stray Theatre, Suitcase In Point, Carousel Players, NAC, ECT, IATSE 461, 828 & 873, The Shaw Festival, Niagara Roller Derby and her work colleagues and friends at Brock's Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts (MIWSFPA) and the FirstOntario Per-forming Arts Centre. There were never enough hours in the day. She enjoyed going anywhere, loved music, and supporting the local art scene. dawn's fun-loving spirit was contagious. Her adventures led us all on a wild ride and to some interesting places, hahaha, the dark little bars to hear the band, the theatres on top of lodges, making mom go down the chair lifts. The memories. We would have followed you anywhere and would not have missed them for anything. I hope you were dreaming of the farm, where you were going to build your house and where to plant what, when you left us and now, I hope that you and dad are building something really great together. We will miss you forever. We will love you forever. Soeur (Debbie Stock) As per dawn's wishes we will have a gathering at her property in the near future. I never had the opportunity to meet Dawn, but I had the distinct pleasure of spending my vacation in France with Judith several years ago.
If Dawn was a reflection of the sweetness ,kindness and jovial personality like her mother, then I am certain she was an amazing person.
To the Chrysler family, please accept my deepest and most heartfelt sympathy on such a profound loss.

Where do we begin? Scott and I (neighbors) loved dawn so much. She always had a smile on her face and could brighten anyone's day. I was still in school when we moved here and as the years have gone by I've always looked up to dawn. The energy she possessed was like nothing I've ever seen and I've always felt safe in this apartment because of her. She was an amazing woman and I wish I got to tell her that one last time. I will never forget when I tried to cook for the first time by myself and I gave her some of my soup and she said "it was great". Bless her heart. She brought me a bouquet of flowers and it touched my heart. dawn, i will always miss you and wish i could have hugged you one more time or brought you one more "amateur dish". We are devastated and will never forget you, you will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace you beautiful soul, I will do anything I can to help those in need downtown because of you. We love you so much.

I have such fond memories of Dawn and her genuine spirit for life. She tried and did things that left me in awe, never hesitating to try something many people hadn’t even think of.
My heart is with you Judy, Debbie and family.

So many of my childhood memories include dawn. Sleepovers, sledding in orchards, exploring and trips. She always had a smile and kind word for everyone she met. May her adventurous and joyous spirit continue to inspire.

She was my best friend in elementary school. Spent every day together during school and every summer at her family farm helping with picking and sorting the fruits. I have always said my passion for becoming a Horticulturist came from the Crysler Farm. She was a great friend and joy to be around, she will be missed.
To the Crylser Family- The Bake Family sends you our condolences and we are truly sorry for your loss.
