It is with deep sadness that the family of Bronislaw (Ben) Kubow announce that Ben passed away peacefully at St. Catharines General Hospital on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. Ben was born in 1933 and grew up in Montreal and proudly attended McGill University where he became an electrical engineer. He also attended the Alexander Institute in New York, as well as Brock University. Ben settled in St. Catharines and worked for General Motors for 35 years as an engineer. Ben was married to his loving wife Elsie Olena Lach in 1963 and they raised two children and built a life centred around family, faith and hard work. He was a lover of music and enjoyed playing his violin. Ben loved his grandchildren and times spent at their cottage in Niagara-on-the-Lake. He will be deeply missed by his wife Elsie of 57 years, his two children Tom and Nancy (Steve) and his grandchildren Annika, Aaron, Matthew and Lara and his brother Ted. Due to Covid restrictions the funeral will be for family only. If desired, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines (905-684-6346). Uncle Ben was a true gentleman, always so approachable, caring, and genuinely interested in what was going on in your life. I have many fond memories of growing up and visiting the Kubow house, chatting with Uncle Ben about everything from business to cars. His presence will be deeply missed. Ben was my 'second tato' when Tom and I got together and discussed life and the challenges we faced. He loved his family dearly and was always a pleasure to speak to. It was great knowing him for the many many years that I did. He will be missed.

May he rest peacefully - Vichnaya Pam'yat.
