(Klaas) Peacefully passed away into Glory at Shalom Manor on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at the age of 89. Loving husband of Corrie Huizinga, father of Marlene (Tony) McCoy, Ron (Debbie) Huizinga and Wayne Huizinga. Grandfather of Laura McCoy, Jon McCoy, Ryan Price, Heather (Matt) Galbo, Greg (Victoria) Huizinga. Great-grandchildren; Hunter, Sadie, Jessa, Lillian, Claire and Corey. Survived by his sisters Nellie Tamming, Shirley (Alex) Kroll, Rose Feddema, Betty (Mike) Bylsma. Brother-in-law to Henny DeBoer, Ralph (Tina) Rodermond, Alice (Bill) Postma, Mary (Bernie) Slump, Tena (Sid) Bosma, Debbie (John) Slagter. Predeceased by his brother Bob Huizinga, sister-in-law Lenora Huizinga, brothers-in-law Martin Tamming and Tom Feddema. Klaas DeBoer, Ricky and Gerrit De Boer, Jane and Dave Hill. All COVID-19 restrictions will be adhered to including the wearing of masks and social distancing. Private visitation at Tallman funeral home in Vineland on Thursday, March 11, followed by Interment at St. John's Cemetery in Jordan. A memorial service will be live-streamed at Trinity United Reformed Church at 99 Scott St, St. Catharines, at 2:00 p.m. Donations to Shalom Manor in Grimsby, or the Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region would be appreciated.
