May 6, 1960 - January 6, 2021 After a brief illness, Erin passed away at her home in Grimsby. Remembered for her joy of cooking and sharing the spoils with the neighbors and for her wonderful sense of humor. She made others happy. Also for that terrific right hook one day that has become legendary around here. Erin's schooling from Laura Secord, Niagara College and McMaster University led her to the health-care field where she shared her compassion for helping others. When Erin entered Heaven she was reunited with her father Leroy and will be sadly missed by her husband Allan, her mother Merilyn, sisters Cheryl, Ruth, Maggie, her brother Jimmy and many nieces and nephews. Erin cherished her niece Ceili and was grateful for her close friendship with Marilyn and Dave. It was Erin's zest for life that first attracted me to her. It was Erin's capacity to care for others that endured her to me over the years. She was one whose virtues would have been less powerful without her imperfections. You will always be my "Jenny", I know what love is. A celebration of Erin's life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations can be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Canada in Erin's name.
