It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Krystyna Gospodarek; a dear mother, grandmother and strong woman. She passed peacefully on Wednesday March 10th, 2021 with her loving son Ziggy by her side. She is predeceased by her loving husband Stanley (1997). She will be deeply missed by many friends and family. Krystyna immigrated to Canada from Poland in 1966 with her husband and two sons. She was very happy to call Canada her home. She loved her job working on a farm, and later in the canning factory where she stayed for multiple years. She was a very handy woman, helping her husband with many renovations. She enjoyed her time working on various sewing projects and took a great interest in fashion. The family would like to thank Lydia and the team at Linhaven for all their kindness and support. In keeping with Krystyna's wishes, a visitation will be taking place at George Darte Funeral Home on Tuesday March 16th 2021 from 10:00am-12:00pm 585 CARLTON ST. St. Catharines with a funeral service to follow at 12:00pm. Donations made to Sick Kids Hospital and Our Lady of Perpetual Help in St. Catharine's would be appreciated.
