CHIAPPETTA, Leslie It is with broken hearts our family announces the peaceful passing of Leslie Chiappetta on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Hospice Niagara, surrounded by her family. Loved mother of Ali Luczycki, Jessica Sadler (Jack), Katie Chiappetta (Mark Hopkins) and Sam Chiappetta. Sadly missed by her loving partner Mark Chiappetta. Dear Nanny to George Sadler. Predeceased by her parents Leslie and Edna McArthur and her first husband Karol Luczycki (father of Ali and Jessica). She will also be missed by her two favourite dogs Harpo and Romeo. Loved sister of Tom McArthur, Mary Jane McArthur and Ian McArthur (Jodi). Special friend to Kalie and Rhaya. Survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Friends will be received at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME (2000 Merrittville Hwy., Thorold) on Friday from 6 - 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 10 a.m. Private family interment. The family wish to thank Hospice Niagara and their dedicated staff and volunteers for their compassion and care during Leslie's final days. Special thanks to Hammie, Sandy and Rosanna for their friendship, support and constant visits to the Hospice. Donations to Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
