It's been one year without you. One seemingly never ending year. We're ok, but we're not the same. We still laugh, but it's not the same. A years worth of birthdays and holidays came and went, but they weren't the same. Nothing is the same here without you. It's been a hard year for many people. So many losses, so many tears shed, so many questions. What a year to try to navigate without you, our patriarch. You taught us everything...except how to live without you. But maybe we're not meant to know how to live without you, but instead how to live with the love you left behind. Everyone always seems to remember the way you made them feel, welcomed with a smile and loved like family. You were a true gentleman, a devoted husband, father and Nonno. We will forever miss the sound of your voice and the wisdom in your advice. We thought we had more time to love you. We thought we had more time to learn from you and your stories. We thought we had more time together 20 strong. We have one less seat at the table now, the place where we made some of our fondest memories. We don't see you, but we know you're there. We feel you there. Our hearts still ache, the tears still fall but we were blessed to have you as our leader. You're sadly missed and always remembered by your loving family and golf & card playing buddies. We love you always and all ways. MDLTA
