I knew Sandie as a courageous survivor, meeting at a terrible time in her life. She was tough and funny, fiercely proud of her sons. We would connect periodically through the years. It was a pleasure to watch her community involvement. Our last meeting was at a delightful event for women golfers she had organized shortly after she began with the Niagara Parks Commission.
A lovely woman, strong and capable. She will be missed by many.

Dear Spencer, Colton and family
What a sad time this has been. We have fond memories of Sandie from the time we first met her when Steve and Karen were just thinking about becoming husband and wife over 35 years ago. Sandie always had such a beautiful smile when she greeted you. And her hugs were so joyful! She really made everyone love her for her zest for life and her genuine interest in you. Sandie really was exceptional and her death will leave a hole for anyone who knew her. She will always be remembered and will be missed. Sorry that our circumstances prevent our attendance. Always in our hearts
Love to all
