Mr. Longster, I had the pleasure of being one of your students many years ago in the apprenticeship program. You were a great instructor, and we had a lot of great laughing moments in your class. This is sad news to hear, but may you Rest in Peace.

I met Keith when I was the Co-Ordinator for the Cook Apprenticeship Program at Niagara College in the 80s. Keith joined a group of six Chef Professors in developing the curriculum in the program, Food Preparation and Kitchen Management were some of the subjects he taught.

We became good friends over the year’s, you will be sorely missed my friend.

We are sorry to hear of Keith's passing. We've have so many memories of great times and laughs with your dad and Jerre through the years especially out at Medina.

Having worked with your dad at the College was always fun and I learned from him as a fellow Chef. He was filled with knowledge and I loved hearing his stories of his experiences in the kitchen.

Your dad will be missed along with his wit and humor. He would always have us laughing.

Our condolences to all of you.

Sincerely
Mary, Jim and Brittney Journeau

Mary, Elizabeth and I would like to offer our condolences at this time. He was first a teacher, then colleague and ultimately a friend for many years. My family along with the Scordinos enjoyed visiting Jerre and him at the camper in Medina. Later after he retired from working with us, I enjoyed his visits to the Famous. When you see someone’s death notice the dates of life-death are separated by a dash. That dash represents their life, my memories of his many stories proves his dash (life) was amazing. He will be missed by us all.

Stan and I are very sorry for the loss of your father. We have great memories spent with Keith and Jerre at Wildwood Lake campground Medina NY, sitting around the campfire fire and Keith singing his special songs, we would get together several times during the Winter and enjoy getting together for dinner. Darrell and I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences. So sorry for your loss. It saddens us, as, it is our loss also. Keith was a good friend and he will be missed. We have so many fond memories of dinners together, card games and laughs that we shared over the years. We enjoyed the wonderful times with him and Jerre at the trailer in Medina. It was a yearly event that we always looked forward to. Sending our prayers and hugs to you all.
