Terry FIELD Obituary

In loving memory of Terry Sheila Marina Field October 7, 1934 (Birmingham, England) - December 30, 2020 ( St Catharines, Canada) Terry died peacefully in her sleep at home with her beloved cats and family at her side. She lived 86 full and varied years, moving homes (usually with a beloved cat in tow) countries and careers, reinventing herself along the way always with love, a good story, a sense of fun and adventure. She was a life long learner and a life long adherer to fitness. After the accident, the hospital staff were all amazed at her level of fitness and her determination to get back her independence, it was a testament to her indomitable spirit. Terry is predeceased by her husband of 64 years, David Harry Field. She will be dearly missed by her children Tracey (Vicken),Paul Ross (Nancy), and her grandchildren Rebecca (Martin), Spencer (Kathleen), Aram (Alex), Simon and Troy as well as her brother Allen Snelson (Margret) in England. The family are having a private celebration of her life but would appreciate friends and acquaintances sharing a memory, story or just their thoughts regarding Terry at www.pleasantviewcemetery.ca

Paul, Tracey and Vicken. Reminiscing had me look up Terry’s name. My sympathies in your grieving the void of a remarkable woman, as I recall. The experiences remembered from my days working at The Chelsea Bun , have followed me over thirty years! Life long lessons learned from both Terry and Paul ; Work hard. Have fun. Keep your chin up. Be determined. Quality takes time! Good lessons practiced daily! Some people have a lasting effect, even when out of touch; they’re never forgotten. Cheers!

I really liked Terry and I'm really going to miss her. She always gave me candy when I visited my Grammy (her neighbour). I loved that time we had a dance party in the backyard!

Terry was a firecracker. I loved hearing stories of her adventures. She loved sailing, her cats, coffee chats with friends and life in general. She left a mark in this world and we will all miss her.

Terry was a stronghold of fearlessness. A true friend, a true heart. I will cherish dearly the wonderful memories she shared and her wittiness. Her spirit lives in in my heart.
