Clarice MOONEY Obituary
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 27th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street, 905-937-4444. A Celebration of Clarice's life will be held on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. Covid-19 restrictions are still in effect. Friends will need to wear a mask during the visitation and a reservation must be made to attend the Celebration.
If so desired, donations made in Clarice's memory to Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by her family.

I fondly remember Clarice from the St Catharines Collegiate in the 1970's.
She was such a friendly and outgoing teenager, and friend. Judging by the stories shared on this site, she continued to be a trusted and beloved mother, wife, friend and colleague. Heartfelt condolences to the family and all those who are mourning her loss.

I have known Clarice since high school, Michael since 1976. Saw Michael and Clarice briefly at the grocery store parking lot, spoke to them for a few moments. Very sorry to hear this news.

My sincere condolences to the family . I met Clarice when I joined Sing Niagara and will remember her deep bass voice and the good times, eating and laughing at "The Duck " every Monday after rehearsal .

I have opened this page over a dozen times to write something and each time something else comes to mind. I have known Clarice since school, sang in the Collegiate choir together, gone on class trips with her and often I went to her place to eat lunch in high school. Having moved to Calgary I missed out on so many years but so glad and thankful I got to see her a few years ago. If one was to google the name "Clarice" you will find it means "bright, clear, famous" Clarice was all those things...bright in that she shone her light in all her friends and family, clear in her way of making people know who she was, straight forward for sure and famous...well just look at the comments on the pages of her friends who were the closest to her. Clarice was loved by everyone. I am at a loss for words except I send my sincere condolences to all her family and friends and may she rest in peace and I know she is happy to have joined her parents in eternal glory. Goodbye dear friend. Never stop singing, I heard angel choirs are awesome.
