Shirley Fredette Obituary

Shirley Yvonne Fredette (Delaire) passed away peacefully on September 12 in her 88th year, at the St. Catharines hospital. Predeceased by her husband k James Fredette, parents Clifford and Zona Delaire, sister Linda Delaire. Shirley leaves behind her daughters Kim (Kirk) Smith, Pamela Fredette (Peter Ewanick), her grandchildren Sabrina Smith (Dave Dean), Tyler Smith (Katrina Elliot), sister Joanne (Elliot) Fleury and sister in-law Dorothy Fredette. She will also be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews, Debbie Mayea, Don Fredette, Paul Fleury, Marla Wagg, Adam and Andrew Delaire.
Shirley will be especially missed by her lifelong friends Shirley MacDonald and Marilyn Giles.
Mom enjoyed a full life, with dad, travel and entertaining with Family and friends. Our Home was always the centre for many events and get togethers. Mom loved her home and was able to enjoy it thanks to the support of family, wonderful friends, and neighbours. We would also like to thank the compassionate staff on 2A for the care of mom in her final days. Following mom's wishes cremation has taken place and a family celebration will be arranged at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to Passfield Mortuary Services Inc. Online condolences maybe left at www.passfieldmortuary.ca
