Williamson, Scott Gerald
ROCHESTER - The funeral for Scott Gerald Williamson will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Oakwood Cemetery Chapel in downtown Rochester, Minnesota. Celebration of his life will follow at 1:45 p.m. at Meadow Lakes Senior Living dining room, Rochester.
Scott Williamson, 42, died unexpectedly February 7, 2013, in Rochester.
He was born Sept. 15, 1970, in Lake Forest, Illinois, to Gerald and Donna (Zimmer) Williamson. On Sept. 23, 1995, he married Kjersten Leigh (Hagedorn) Williamson in Wausau. They became parents to two children.
Scott, was a devoted father and husband, worked most recently as Product Development Manager for Halcon of Stewartville, Minnesota. Previously, he worked in product design at Sunrise Medical of Stevens Point, Benchmark Electronics of Rochester, Minnesota and Hardcore Computer of Rochester, Minnesota. Scott boasts several national design awards and patents.
He is survived by his father, Gerald of Rochester, formerly of Merrill; wife, Kjersten, son, Nicholas and daughter, Elisabeth all of Rochester, formerly of Wausau and Stevens Point; and sister, Dawn Burgess of Los Angeles, California, formerly of Merrill. He is preceded in death by his mother, Donna, formerly of Merrill.

I am very saddened to hear of Scott's passing, he will be missed by many. I came across a class picture of us when we left 6th grade, and wondered how he was doing. He will be missed by the Merrill Class of 1989!
